YRC Musical Performances

Students of our Musical Theatre classes showcase their talents through a performance night. Our 2026 season is graciously funded by the NSW Government Office for Regional Youth Winter Holiday Break Program.

About our Musical Performances

Each year, students participating in Musical Theatre classes through our School Programs demonstrate their learned skills on stage, developing confidence and exploring the ability to collaborate with others to put on the show of a lifetime. Students learn how to listen, adapt, problem-solve, contributing their talents towards a shared vision. The rehearsal process teaches commitment, perseverance, and the importance of working together to achieve a successful performance.

YRC is grateful for funding provided by the NSW Government Office for Regional Youth WInter Holiday Break Program.

With this funding, we were able to offer workshops for the cast; to design and construct sets; to design and make costumes; to learn about sound and lighting production; and for musicians to be mentored in a pit orchestra.

Many of our participants would not otherwise have had access to such activities.
